I have recently inherited a flag made of silk material from around the 1900s/First WW period. It has a red background with three symbols on it .These symbols are like the current Turkish flag,which has only one crescent and star.Mine has three.Does anyone have any knowledge of this flags identity?

Thanks for that Kempie ,however it is not exactly the same.
The three crescent and stars pattern is in the centre of mine and not over to the left as in the Khedive version.

Thanks Kempie.The link you suggested was spot on and the silk I have is the "Souvenir of Egypt" 1917.There is a great amount of deatail on the site and it is very interesting. Thanks again.
