Better late than never, I suppose.

It annoys me when people talk about it as being Shakespeare's birthday. He was born around the 23rd but the exact date isn't knows.

It was there yesterday too so not late going on but it should probably be removed now.

Question Author

I didn't notice it yesterday. So clearly it's not too late.

tommorrow is Anzac day......do we have a kiwi banner head?

Apparently, today is "National Pigs-in-a-Blanket Day" (no, me neither)  🤔

Question Author

Are pigs in blankets anything like sausage rolls?  I've just had a couple for lunch.

Do we have a flag for that?

Question Author

A flag to celebrate my lunch would be going a bit too far, don't you think?

No a pig in a balnket is sausage wrapped in bacon, a sausage roll is sausage in pastry(particulalry nice in Grggs)

Greggs sausage rolls Sandy ?

Question Author

No.  French Village.  They put a bit of extra spice in them and charge more than the usual price.

" Fancy " .

April 24 is Genocide Day in Armenia. April 25 is Anzac Day down under.

They both derive from actions by Turkey, both in 1915. It must have been a  busy couple of days for the Ottomans.
