Where can I find a VCR from? Im looking for the cheapest possible. Just need to go through quite a few old tapes and possiblh convert to dvd!

Ebay
Have a look also in Magazines such as Exchange & Mart and in your Local Paper 'Goods for Sale' Section as you should pick up a bargain
register with freecycle and you'll pick up a perectly good one for free!

Charity shops are also a good bet
we picked one up last weekend from a general auction held locally. Only £2 + commission & it works lovely. Came with instruction booklet & remote too so got a real good bargain
Dot's suggestion (Freecycle) is a good one.

Buying from eBay is not such a good idea. You'll probably have to pay more for carriage than for the VCR. Looking in 'Loot' (which I know serves your area) might be better.

I bought my VCR (in excellent condition, tested and warrantied) from the British Heart Foundation 'Electrical & Furniture' charity shop in Ipswich. I think that it cost about £15 but, more recently, I noticed that their shop in Thetford had loads of them on offer for a tenner each. BHF F&E stores are listed here:
