Am hoping to put some jewellery on EBay - maybe today, if I can get the right photos - In the description I will give size, colours, type of beads and I was wondering should I give each item a name and if so - any ideas - for bracelets, necklaces ?
oohhh, can I help you with your pics peri, I will try a background that suits the colour, call the bracelet by the mood or the colour in it, eg;
"pink blush"
or Blue ice ???

I may just do that in this case diz - no offence though !
Bobbi I like your ideas - keep em coming. Hubby is trying to take photos now - we got an EZ cube (or type of) this morning which eliminates glare
Go for good presentation pericat as that will sell the items for you. I'm sure Bobbisox and yourself can come up with some good Photos to put on E-Bay.
Hi Sachs - its just that most jewellery I see for sale has a name - like autumn flowers bracelet or something like that - it seems to be something that is done
excellent "
as I said
Pink Blush would probs incorperate shades of pinks and reds
Blue Ice with different blues , creams and whites
Autumn Delight , with the oranges and browns
Lilace Time, lilacs and purples
Luck of the Irish, shades of green
Angel, whites and ivorys

Red - I do think its most important to get the photo right especially with jewellery - it is frustrating as the camera seems to lighten everything and is not getting the colours quite right !
I'm not sure, I could probably use paint shop to add a background , I don't know till I try, it may or may not work, you have my emails address don't you?

Hiya Peri - I have been selling stuff on Ebay for around 5 years - don't forget to add a clause about returns. Always put something along the lines of 'Refund will be considered if item is faulty, but not on postage and packing or the cost to return item.
Bobbi - can you just send it to me again on FB - thanks
Hi Den - my OH sells stuff on EBay too so I will do all that - having a very frustrating time getting the colours right
I think it's a good idea to give them names peri but I'm not as artistic as Bobbi so can't think of any. Let me know when you start selling on ebay cos I've got my eye on one of your necklaces.
