Men ...

Would you wear a shirt that had any polyester in it ?

eg. Cotton 65%, Polyester 35% (or vice versa)

I meant to ask this a few days ago after I'd been buying some mens' shirts.

have you got one on sport?
My OH wears polycotton for every day but if he is going to London for day will wear pure cotton as they stand up to travelling better. I like the cotton ones but they need much more careful ironing ( or so he says when he irons them )

Mmm ... not at the moment.

I'll try to think of one.

(have you been checking your shirt label?)
Yep,indeed I would (and do).
Mine are (I think) Cotton 65%, Polyester 35%,rather than the reverse..
I used to have some 100% cotton ones, but Elsie (my wife) complained that they were "fiddly to iron, hence all my shirts are Poly/Cotton now.
Personally,I cannot see(or feel) any difference and the poly/cotton ones are usually much cheaper, and if you shop in the price range that I have to Poly/Cotton is your only option.
I am old enough to remember that in the 50's/60's when Nylon shirts were all the rage, and believe me they were nasty things to wear, sweaty and full of static, but hey ho that's fashion for you!

Naomi ... thorough answer ...

... thank you x
Prefer Silk to match my pants! JJ xx
I think most of my shirts are polycotton.

Pure cotton creases so badly (or at least the cotton in my budget does).

65% cotton would be a good ratio.

Nylon shirts ...

Whooahh !!! ... static shocks !

I'm surprised they weren't banned in petrol stations.
Well!
I never thought stompe was cross~dresser? LOL
I do every day, but in my defense they are provided by work and we have to wear them (complete with fetching company logo on my left breast!)

My Mum put me in nylon jimjams, then one day she bought som nylon sheets aswell!

If you turned over quickly you could see a light show of little sparks, and felt like you might spin and not stop turning.
