bobbley jumper

Hello I have a new jumper which after one wash ( i did follow the instructions) has gone kind of bobbley.....how do i get rid of the bobbley bits and if i get another jumper the same how can i prevent it going bobbley in the first place??

You can use a bobble/lint/pill/fuzz shaver like this one.
Cheaply made jumpers use shorter fibres. Friction from another garment, or rubbing together, causes these to be pulled out and form the bobbles. Long fibre knits resist this. Wearing something smooth and slippy over your jumper (like the silky lining in a jacket) will reduce the friction and help prevent bobbling.
