I understand that Biotex is a washing powder used for whitening whites. It retails at around 1.99 per box. Is there anything cheaper that works just as effectively as Biotex to whiten white clothes? Please dont say bleach!
Soda Crystals are quite cheap and do a good job, although I use them in conjuction with washing powder if you need some extra oomph to clean your whites.
My husband works as a butcher so you can imagine the state of his white`s. I use Tesco biological powder & a scoop of Vanish (the one in pinky box) & wash at 30 degrees. Brillant results EVERY time.
I use Colour Catchers in every wash , even with whites and it seems to keep them white. They only work out about 10p per sheet but they are brilliant and well worth it as it saves any colours running if you do accidentally get something you shouldnt in the wash. I passed theis onto a few friends and they amazed at the results. I think I should be getting commission from the makers of Colour Catcher. Try it
