after sun with aloe vera is a nice soothing substance for sun burn, also vaseline is very good for relieving the soreness!
buy an aftersun with aloe vera in it or buy pure aloe vera gel. keep whatever you choose to use in the fridge so it's lovely and cold when you put it on. and remember sunscreen next time! xx

Thanks Linz and Tat - i'll go and get an aloe vera after sun. I'll not be so daft the next time to go out without any sun protection on!! Thanks again! ;o)
Have you got your sunburn sorted buttons? :-)

It's amazing what some freezing cold after sun (with Aloe Vera!!) can do for you. It's still pretty raw, but there has been a definate improvement. Thanks again for your suggestion, it appears to have worked a treat!
Please remember that whatever you do to soothe the results that the damage (might) already have been done.
