Knee high, ankle or calf?
Do you need wider leg ones or are you able to wear a normal sizing?
Any loop stitch wool (with a bit of nylon), don't pay over the odds.

They can put the label "thermal" on anything - it doesn't necessarily mean it's any better than "ordinary".

Pretty shapely leg
OK Mr Red likes these
Amazon.co.uk User Recommendation
OK they are my choice - Mr Red choice has not shown up but were plain black and a bit tight on the calf for my liking
Those look ok & a good price but I would go for 80% wool 20% synthetic.
Thanks Dave - I suffer from very very cold feet and these are actually quite good on keeping my feet warm

Zeb Mother, sister have the most beautiful legs - mother in particular and I guess sister.

We called the legs that were thick calf to ankle "beef to the ankle". And so we didn't have them.
