I like to buy my hairdresser a small ,sometimes funny Christmas gift ,this year I'd like it to be for him and his male partner who I love to bits

Have you seen those quirky little boxes with games for two in? Sainsbury's sells them and they have quite amusing titles. I've bought them before as gifts for a laugh and they've always gone down well.

Haha , yes they both have a great soh, neither of them go in for the marching thing and Simon dislikes camp gays , I saw some rainbow socks but as I said they aren't into Gay Pride, got to be a nice funny gift, waiting for next year when they get married for the biggie
I've opted for a T shirt each with a santa blocking out the full Fluff off 2020 and Santa's wearing a mask, I think they'll love them

Sorry, but I think 'funny' gifts are never funny; same with 'funny' cards, and my heart would sink if I received one, as it's tantamount to saying that the sender couldn't be bothered to think of something the recipient would actually like or appreciate.

If you love him to bits, buy him something really nice, not some jokey tat!

Many years ago I bought a brass, embossed plaque, which was supposed to be an advertisement for a retailer of bespoke gents' clothing. The final line extolled their virtue of providing the best dickies in town. My friends were delighted with it and moved it to the bathroom of each new home they had.

I can assure you brainiac ,they'll both love the tee shirts , I'll get them a real good present when they get married, hopefully next year as R is going to have a gastric band fitted but not sure when

It is a very pleasant gesture from you and I would recommend you to do something original and handmade, because such gifts have a value for the person you give it, because it comes from heart.
