I don't know how to describe this but it's a 'ball' that predicts answers to your questions. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and if so where can I get one? There used to be a robot type thing years ago that did the same thing but apparently you can get them in a ball shape too.

They are called a "Magic 8 Ball" in america - try searching for that.
Toys r us have something similar to that

Try http://www.firebox.com/?dir=firebox&action=product&pid=817 if its the '20 Questions' game ball you're after, not the 'will I / won't I' ball.. Costs about 10 (batteries extra)

My Dad got one for his grandchildren and they hardly got a look in - all the adults were baffled by the accuracy of the damn thing!! Good fun for car journies.......
