Saturday. The sky is clear, it's going to be a sunny day, which is good as I'm in the Visitor Centre on the canal today. My mates Mrs. is coming with us, that means I'm being treated to dinner on the way home. That's today taken care of.

I still haven't heard anything about my niece, so I'm assuming all is well.

Have a happy day everyone.

Morning boaty xxxx I guess that's all one can hope for in a situation like this ....no news has to be good news ....but it doesn't make time go any faster does it !
Morning Boaty, this might be a short visit but I just woke up, not middle of the night roll over and go to sleep type wake up, but ping wide awake. Still got everything crossed for your niece. Still early days and a lot can go awry, very few of the problems aren't fixable though but it just takes time. J

Morning seekz xxx and rowan xxx

Thank you both. It is a worrying time for everyone. My niece never complains, but we are hoping when it's all done she will have a much better life.
One thing is for sure it will be a different one.
How long has she been waiting for a transplant, boaty ?
Hi rowan , how are you ?
Question Author
It certainly will rowan!

About thirty years seekz.
Good thanks, quiet day planned apart from a brief flurry at the gym. Well that's the plan..... my plans have a tendency to drift off course. I need to make some birthday cards so that will take an hour or two. Then sport on tv.
Question Author
That sounds like my plans. :o}
One things for sure, my plans don't involve travel this weekend,unless it's a trip to a pub
Question Author
Well that's a trip worth doing. :o}
Usually, there is one opposite the gym, I'm not going til lunchtime I could see if one of my friends fancies a pint. Does rather cancel out the good work though..
Question Author
Swings and roundabouts ;o}
I think I'd better stay virtuous, a pint of diet coke is no substitute for a pint of real ale, and just one isn't an option, not when we get chatting
Question Author
Go for the pleasure! ;o}
You should be encouraging me, this is one time I know what Dave would be saying.... and that includes why not go for cheesy chips with the beer, save cooking later.
Question Author
I'm sure he would, It makes sense! ;o}
Question Author
I love cheesy chip, along with a big sausage.
I think you and Dave would have got along just fine, and I would be as fat as a hippo trying to keep up. I still have 9 stone to lose to get back into the healthy range.
Question Author
I think we would too.

You have the determination my lovely. You'll do it!
