Ordered Online, What Does This Mean

your order is waiting fullfilment ? i paid for items this morning with my visa debit, the order went through, my payment was took then i was given a message to say transaction was successfull.

then i get an email to say this , see link below.

Is this a genuine email?

I occasionaly get ones suposedly from Amazon - but I know when I've ordered and also the order number quoted is not in Amazons format.

I would say it's waiting for the pickers to go round the store to gather the bits for your order. At that point it will be "Waiting for dispatch" and then "Out for delivery".

the transaction's just the payment. Awaiting fulfillment probably means "We haven't put the items together yet" - or perhaps "The items are together but not yet picked up and put on a lorry", but that's more likely to be "Awaiting despatch".

Fulfilment means the meeting of requirement, condition or need. So therefore your order requirements and the condition (ie packaged) and your need (buying it) are being met as the other posters have said
