Does anyone know when the Next sale begins, in particular the website sale if that differs from the shops?

My friend told me last night that it starts on 23rd July. I think if you have a Next Directory you get some bumf about ordering online but i may be wrong :-)

I have a next catalogue, so I get to know before, and I can go online to get to the sale that way or the phone,

But if you dont have that then you can ask in the store, next usally give a couple of days notice.

I too have heard that it is the 23rd July which is a suprise cos normally it is the last Saturday in July

How does the online directory work as we have just registered?

Do you get to go on the day before or is it impossible to get online?

I've just been on the website now and it's updated to show the new Autumn/Winter collection.

I've been following the site for the last month as I'm in Oz (originally from Sheffield) and want to pick up some new ties. The ones over here are either aweful or cost twice as much as the UK.

Now that the Next directory website has stopped displaying it's spring/summer range have I missed the chance to buy at the sale price.

As I'm not in the UK at the mo I can't go to a store to find out.

The sale begins as confirmed Saturday 23rd July 2005 at 5am

It is the biggest sale in the history of the company. Around 80% of the salesfloor will be marked down. The grooming products are being re-branded so the current, soon to be old packaging is going in the sale.

Same thing for a lot of the homeware and other parts

BarneyJo - I seem to remember just logging onto the site last on the last sale day & hunting through the list. I'm not sure if it's any good for me this year as I have misplaced my directory (yup, I know, nearly impossible because of the size of it!) and the sale list does not show you the article only the numbers so I think you have to have a directory to see what the stuff is.

the next sale starts 5am on sat 23rd july online its 6am 23rd july not that i shop at next alot

Next will be advertising on television for the first time in its history on the ITV and E4 networks on Friday afternoon

We've been told that they are pushing this big style. Sale prep has lasted more than 6 weeks, when it generally only takes 2 weeks to prep the store.

It really is a massive sale and please be nice to the staff with qeues and things. They dont want to be there at 5am. They dont want to wear a red sash and be pushed all over the place.

Be nice to your staff and they'll be nice to you!

I used to work for next and was there for the last two sale days, it's great fun!

Everyone seems more friendly at 5am!!

We had a breakfast van outside the one i worked at for everyone to enjoy after a busy shop at 6/7am!!

But anyway, sale is at 5am on saturday but i think some stores are not opening until 6am.

My friend was at the sale at 5am this morning & left the store at 8! I was a bit more lazy & I am pleased to say that after going on-line I got masses of stuff 1/2 price.
