am going to a wedding next weekend and was hoping I wouldn't have to wear tights but with this weather it looks like I have to.

Does anyone know if you can get tights which you can use for flip flop style sandals ? So basically the big toe is seperated from the rest.

And if so do you know where ?
Much appreciated, thanks

I'm seeing double - I've just answered this Q somewhere else!! :-)

happy_face, there is such thing called a 'sandal toe' tight/hold up - the toe part is not blocked out (like the traditional tights) and see through still so you can't really tell you're wearing them unless you looked really ultra close.  If you was to get one in a natural colour you should be fine.  I don't know if you're near a John Lewis but they have a good selection of tights.  If not you can get sandal toe tights from lots of other shops that sell the normal tights.

I hope that helps!

PS - sorry, I just noticed about the separated big toe part.  This won't help you.  I don't know if there is such a thing as that...
Argh - total faux pas - you shouldn't wear tights with open toes EVER.  Unless it's nuoyg's sort of tights - that's kinda ok.  I presume you have your whole outfit sorted and it will look lovely I'm sure.  Don't ruin the look with tights.  OR - if it's going to be cold, get some nice summery ballet daps with covered toes and then you can wear tights.  :-)
Just put some fake tan on your legs, it's not that cold at the moment, remember a glass or 2 of wine will warm you up.

But avoid the streaks!  And god help you if you fake tan your legs and then it rains!!  If it's a case of worrying about being cold - I still say wear tights and pumps.  They are still very feminine.  Enjoy the day!
