Buying Non-lycra tights

Do you know where I can buy non-lycra tights in the UK?

I am looking at 40-60 denier for the colder weather and lower deniers for the summer I find that lycra tights are quite uncomfortable and rather tight and restrictive, since I have had a leg injury and have no "give". In addition, as I am short and overweight, I find that lycra tights also "bag" at the ankles.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

If you can't find any in the shops, then try looking on ebay - you might find some older ones which don't have lycra. Googling it says that lycra was invented in 1959 though!
