Not sure if anyone can help with this one but here goes. I used to have a 12" Stereo L/P of Steam Train sounds which I am trying to get on a C/D if any A/Bers are Steam enthusiasts one of the tracks I am trying to recover was I think called 'Across The Moor On A Frosty Morning' ( or similar) & an express can be heard approaching which disturbs a Pheasant or Moorhen which then takes flight.

Our local Library used to have CDs to loan. They had quite a few Sound effects and I'm sure the trains were amongst them.
I thought they all went choo-choo.

My late father was a fireman and then a driver of steam trains and then diesels. He worked from 1949 to 1990 - he always seemed to be working or sleeping.
