OK - have only ever bought stuff off ebay but am thinking of now putting stuff onto sell. ignoring any specials that they do now and then, does anyone know the 'commission' structure on selling stuff?

Is it a straight percentage or sliding scale, is there a minimum fee levied on all purchases etc etc.

Appreciate your help. Thanks guys

There are fee tables on eBay. I think it's 10% commission on Final Sale Fee up to a max of £40 plus an insertion fee (again depends on item price I think)
Here is the ebay fees page click om each item to see the scale of fees.

You can list for free by starting an auction at 99p and that gives 1 picture free as well , but you still pay final value fees .
If you go to the Ebay website right at the top there are pull down menus go on the one that says selling then select seller fees you'll find everything you need to know. There are different rates depending on if you list as an auction or buy it now and it can depend on what catagory you list in.
it's easy to add a lot of pics for free - Auctivia
I prefer to see more than one picture of an item I might want to buy

The final value fee for a Buy it now listing with multiple items is calculated per item sold based on the final selling price of the item.

Remember that if your item doesn't sell, you don't pay a final value fee. You'll have the option of relisting your item, and if it sells, you could be eligible for a credit on the insertion fee.
