Does it bother you?

This morning I had to go for a blood test at the doctors.
The car park isn't very big and there are about 5 disabled parking spaces.
Parked in one of these spaces was a works van.
So with my very angry face on I went up to the driver who was reading his paper and having a brew and had a right go at him for parking in a disabled space and not having a blue badge.
He looked quite shocked at me but it really annoys me when people park where they shouldn't.
I wasn't in the doctors long and he had moved when I came out so I was pleased I'd had a go at him.
Does it bother you when people park where they shouldn't?

maybe he was there fixing the disabled ramp ?
I'd tut, but I wouldn't have a go at them. That might be different if I was actually disabled I guess. If you don't mind me asking- are you yourself disabled MissP?

I'd like to think if he saw a blue badge holder tootling along, he'd have moved his van? Possibly?
If he was in the vehicle, he could have easily moved it if a disabled person showed up. I totally agree that people who park in those spaces are ignorant fools, but he didn't leave the van.

Maybe Ankou, but he shouldn't have parked in a disabled bay.
It depends. I'd be less fussed if the driver was in the driver's seat, there were free spaces, and they were able to go on request anyway.

And I feel differently about disabled spaces and other reserved parking justifications.

what about if he was assisting an elderly or disabled person to the doctors and he was merely waiting for them to come out ?

Sorry I should have explained more. There were other spaces he could have parked in at the far side of the car park but he shouldn't have even been in the doctors car park as he told me where he was working and it wasn't there.
you know ironside went round in a van don't you.
Take a chill pill

Yes it does, but experience has taught me not to make assumptions. I'd definitely leave the 'angry face' and 'having a right go' until I was quite sure of the facts.

Not only that, he could have calmly put his brew down and re-arranged your face for you, so not a wise thing to do MissP!
Is this one of those riddles like 7?
Not so much disabled spaces, possibly because I've no need to use them, but my gosh it annoys the heck into me when I see a car parked over 2 spaces in an already packed car park x

Now I'm getting angry at some of you!
I asked him first of all did he have a blue badge, he said No.
I asked him why he was parked there, and he said it was because he was working 'over there' and pointed to a place that was outside of the car park.
So no he wasn't fixing the disabled ramp and although he was in the van when I saw him he was only there because he was taking a break.
All the other disabled spaces were taken OG I said there were 5 disabled spaces not 5 free spaces, and no Sc he wasn't cute.
redhelen I'm sorry you have been unable to get a blue badge but you wouldn't be able to use it anyway while there are Salad Chefs like this about.
"Now I'm getting angry at some of you! "

Bloody hell, its catching this testiness innit? first Cream Soda now you MissP!

Easier at work today than being here, the customers there are more easily cowed into submission.
