Ood morning boatie,good news at last. Grandad has got his op date. We'll be back in England in a couple of weeks and stay for around three months. Fingers crossed that it all goes ok.

Just entered harbour, waterboatman, from a bit of a charter. All hands accounted for although slightly damp. Chippy reports some flotsam swirling around on the orlop deck. We'll recaulk and set forth again on the next high.

I am looking forward to it bernie. It's a child's birthday so I hope I don't have to cancel because of high winds. At the moment it looks like it will be OK.

I'm at the top of a 280 foot hill here, so no problem. The canal is just above sea level. At places it is only about 100 yards from the Severn. Quite beautiful on a nice day! :o}

Ahoy, shipmates lol. Morning all, Nippy but dry and not much wind. Gosh Stewey, that sea looks just like Scarborough week before last! Changed avatar for a day or so, to scare kids away from computers. Pic is of myself and Gwyneth at a BT sponsored event at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester. Nice pic, even if I do say so myself!
