Places You Can't Abide

For any irrational reason you choose, what places can't you abide? I am watching four in a bed and the B & B is near Southwold, can't stand the place (sent a shiver down my spine when they said it, and I haven't been there for must be 20 years).

Right, maybe we should add reasons. I was on a school trip (as a teacher). Sat next to people who I would prefer not to have been sat next to. The bus was breaking down so couldn't drive at the proper speed. Got to Southwold and the bus reversed into wall so we had to take it in turns to guard it (doors wouldn't lock). (Plus it was a really dull place to visit.)

It isn't fit for humans now....

No personal experience, but I cannot think of Slough without adding
'of despond' on to it.

I'm originally from the borough now referred to as Cynon Rondda Taff (just to make it super Welsh) so I have a very low reference point as to what is a rubbish place.

:( Jeza. I only had himself in hospital for a week, but it was a five hour round journey with five kids. The summer was a struggle. Hope Mic continues to improve now he is nearer to home, x

Hemel Hempstead was a huge disappointment when i visited earlier this year. Its sounded so posh too!

When I lived and worked in Salisbury I was often at the refinery in Eastleigh. I didn't think it was that bad. Maybe it has changed. I was last there in 1975.

I cant go near this place or drive near it without becoming overwhelmed with sadness ....so I avoid.
