A neighbour from home is still living with her parents in her 40's and two of my uncles do and they are in their fifties. One is mentally handicapped though and could never live alone.
Another uncle moved in with my other nan after his marriage broke down but he did look after her as well though.

I was 18,
However, my 32 year old nephew only moved out in the last year or so - he doesn't really fit the timothy character profile though - very hip and trendy and and liked the ladies. The price of property really put him off - he had tried a couple of times to get on the property ladder, but he liked to get out and about spending his cash rather than saving it. In his defence, his parents were young when the had him, so they were still in their 40s when he moved out, it wasn't like he was living with pensioners.
