Scotland missing from Google Earth

Has anybody else noticed ? Most of it is there, but bits are missing, e.g. Glasgow.

Did the Scotties shoot down the satellite I wonder.

No idea.... I can see Glasgow on my Google but what is really baffling me is the very large footprint (some 35 miles long) about 88 miles west of Barra, at 56 deg 40' N, 9 deg 45' W.......... I didn't know aliens had 35 mile long feet.....

parts of glasgow are on it but there are some bits missing, think theyve forgotten about us lol

I think it is because it is difficult to get a day when it it is not overcast or raining. Or then again, maybe it is like Wales and doesn't really exist, somebody just made it up for a laugh. It does look quite real when I look out the window though.

Glasgow is there on my copy of Google Earth. GE satallite images are being constantly upgraded. The priority is keeping cities and towns upto-date. The images on GE to the north of glasgow look different and are poorer quality because they are older, but everything is there.
