im looking for ideas what to buy my 20yr old nephew and quick hes just been told hes going to iraq in 1 week so were having christmas early, i would like something he could take with him, ive not got a clue as brains not functioning correct now

hi,
what about an mp3 player so he can listen to all his music? you can pick them up really cheap now. another good idea would be for u all to chip in and buy him a portable dvd player u know the small ones with the screen etc that way he can watch dvds at night when hes not working, my brother was out there and theres not alot to do when ur not working. good luck in your search and i wish u all well, merry xmas x

Buy him a pair of American Desert Boots, also some soft thin trainer like socks. My grandson has just come back and those two things were at the top of the list. They get through socks like they are going out of date. Wish him all my best wishes for a safe return home.
