I bought a refurbished IBM ThinkPad X30 1.2Ghz, 512Mb, 40Gb for �257 in February on eBay and it�s great.

Do some research and find a seller who specialises and offers some guarantee.

the one im using now was �400 in wollies, which is 40gb. i did see one advertised in pc wolrd (i think) the other day with 60 or 80gb for �370. so have a look around

I got my 40GB one from PC World for �349.00.

just bought one from pc world- had it about a week now- cost �379 , theyve got quite a few between �350 and �400, but make sure you go into a store and speak to the guy who knows what hes talking about- you may struggle to find one of these.
