Sorry for being a little later than usual. We have been socialising with neighbours and I have just slipped back to make this post.

Last weekend, 'Lady Eleanor' posted her first ever challenge for you. The result was a little disappointing with low scores so she hopes to remedy that with a fresh outdoor approach.
Early tomorrow she will be off to climb the hills with a dual purpose of enjoying the scenery and getting some exercise. For that reason, her posts will be made by myself. The introduction will appear in Q&P at 8:45 tomorrow morning. The challenge will follow at 9:00. Early players have the most chance of claiming bonus points though occasionally, a link remains undiscovered until Sunday afternoon. All are welcome to play.

Our sister game, the KM Links is also to be found in Q & P tomorrow morning. It is based on highlighted answers in the Daily Telegraph GK Crosswords (set by Kate Mepham = KM) on Saturday and Monday. It is managed by Seekeerz and starts very early in the morning. Time of play doesn't matter in the KM Game because no points are time sensitive. Play any time before midnight Sunday for an equal chance of points.

Despite a couple of 'trashing' attempts last Friday, The Shrubbery survived virtually unscathed so will still be available for socialising tonight.
Be sure to set your alarms for the morning.

Until tomorrow then - Happy Linking

Just been watching a programme on the East Neuk of Fife on TV. Too much presenter and not enough scenery, but enough to remind me how beautiful it is.

And we're down to single figures (seven) in the Hotpot quiz....
Yes, Fife is good. But if sailing is your thing, it has to be the west coast - some of the finest waters in the world!
If only, Aq.... Just standing on board a boat of any size on the sea is enough to finish me off! I did manage to get out to the Farne Islands once, on a calm day on a small motor vessel; movement from side to side is OK, but i can't cope with up and down. So i have to appreciate the beauty from the shore or the cliffs.
Ha! just got two more of gen2's nasty anagrams, thanks to having nothing worth watching on TV.

Hi again. I am back from socialising with neighbours.

Congratulations tearinghair. They are all straight-forward once you know the answers. I already have three returned entries (but I'm not saying how they did). Keep at it, You'll get there eventually.

As for sea-sickness, it is something you can overcome.
I well remember a 'trip round the bay' on the "Skylark" at Littlehampton when I was 7. Nauseating.
Never felt sick subsequently though. Since experienced 50ft waves in South Atlantic and once, I was the only one (out of more than 60) that surfaced for breakfast one morning on the way to South Georgia.
