Would all players please note that in both versions of the game, we will only be playing for the first three weekends of December and then taking a fortnight's break, resuming Saturday 5th Jan 2013.

In the MM Links game, we had a change of setter at the end of the month and after a bit of negotiation we have the honour of having the links set by 'Sir Robin of Linksley' (aka Aquagility).
Watch out tomorrow morning for the introduction at 8:45 and then the challenge at 9:00 in Q & P. Early play is advised in this version because bonus points are time sensitive. This game will end 7pm Sunday.

However, the first game to kick off in Q & P tomorrow morning as always will be the KM Links Game which is managed be Seekeerz. That version is based on the GK crosswords in The Daily Telegraph. No rush to play though in this version - any time before midnight Sunday and the available points remain the same.

Do any of you know what day it is today (other than Friday)? If so, then the chances are that you live somewhere north of the border or have connections up there.
So please join me tonight with a glass of malt

Sober or not, I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow morning in Q & P.
Until then,
Happy St Andrews Day

Having a grandmother who was born at Laphroaig and having a bottle of the same to hand I raise my glass (despite being in Hampshire) and salute St Andrew.
In further mitigation of being in Sassenach land my daughter is, this weekend, in St Andrews of which university she is a graduate.
Slange Var to you both!
(or even Slainte Mhath...)

Spelling doesn't matter boxtops - it is the sentiment that counts.
