Hi ummmm !
Rowan and I were there briefly yesterday as we were having a few Beers in Town.
Did not spot the Ice Rink although it may be in a different place
I think the ice rink is in Centenary Square, near the Hyatt hotel.

I have not been up there yet (it only opened last night) so I cant be certain.
I dare say my dear Carakeel will want to go, she was brought up around Frankfurt and misses the German Xmas markets.
yes, i think its the 11th year running now
As it happens we are at a dog show in Brum on the 14th December :-)

i am indeed, and you? how is Rowan?
Hilarious Fluff. Can't wait to see you fall on your arse...
I might get the train & make a day of it. I've only driven through Brum & I gather it has some great architecture.
Question Author
Both of us are OK at present, thanks.
London beckons at the end of the Month to visit Rowan's Family before Xmas.
if i go down, you are coming with me
Is it a genuine German market? I went to a so-called German Christmas market in Leeds a few years ago, and spoke to some stallholders in German, and they didn't speak German! I'm not a fluent German speaker, but my German wasn't exactly difficult to understand!
Question Author
Birmingham is twinned with Frankfurt and although it's a genuine German Market, there are many other Nationalities here as well.
The largest authentic German market in the world, outside Germany and Austria, it attracted over four million visitors last year from across the UK and Europe
Danke, redman! Das klingt gut!
Question Author
Frohe Weihnachten !
