I get Tesco vouchers from work as well, ummmm.
Excellent, I'm quite jealous ;)
We get a posh hamper from Fortnum & Mason, I'd rather Tesco vouchers to be honest.
Question Author
Well, you can use the Tesco vouchers on anything not just food, rocky.
Do you have to work at Tesco to get the vouchers?
I don't go mad buying stuff at Christmas. The only extras we get are for the actual dinner and maybe a cheese board. People buy way too much stuff.
Sibton, No. His boss buys the vouchers.
Question Author
No sibo, you can buy the vouchers from Tesco's.
Well our family has agreed that this year we aren't doing big presents. We are limiting to small amounts because all of us are a bit skint, most of us have everything we need and its all a shocking waste of money. So my main presents will be home made hampers which I can do for a fraction of the cost of buying stuff.
I will buy my Mum a Birthday present (23rd Dec)
Ah, very generous companies :-) I just save nectar points from one year to the next got £95 worth so far.
My mother was a miserable trout at Christmas....don't remember great ones.
I love Christmas....buying gifts.....little get togethers (not parties)...games over dinner and drinks....love all the little traditions I started for the kids.
Love my presents wrapped and blinged up too Tony. x
Question Author
Doh must get some blingy wrapping paper.
My kids get far too much at Christmas but we are the only ones who buy for them, the pile on Christmas Day is almost obscene.
I wonder what tony's mrs will get us gness as a present for keeping him out of her hair
Barmaid. Five children and partners, exes and eight grandchildren made us decide to do a different present giving every year. Once was under a fiver for each person but had to be from a from a charity shop. Once, three gifts each from the pound shop....great fun with no pressure. We sometimes wrap with newspaper appropriate to the person.......sport for the golf fanatic, health pages for the hypochondriac etc.....
Goat's milk soap Sib? x
