An explosion sends energy outwards and an implosion brings energy inwards, like a vacuum chamber's walls collapsing.
Agreed.....an explosion sends the inside OUTWARDS whereas an implosion brings the outside INWARDS. Example.1....a torpedo exploding in the tubes. Example.2....the sub`s pressure hull imploding due to the pressure at extreme depths.
