Thanks. I'll be watching, weather permitting!
Thank you for this Raidergal, I'll be looking out tonight, a sight worth seeing without doubt.

Once in a Blue moon and other phrases.

https://albertjack.co.uk/once-blue-moon-phrase-origin/

\\We all know that every year there is one full moon in each month and all of these twelve moons have names, the Harvest Moon, the Hunters Moon, the Hay Moon and so on, and the dates they are due to appear are listed in red in the Maine Farmers Almanac.

However, approximately seven times in every nineteen years there will be thirteen full moons in a given year.

This means that for one month in around thirty-three there are two full moons, the second of which doesn’t have a formal name but is listed in blue, not red, in the Almanac and so it became known as the Blue Moon (the rare one).

We have to wait a long time for something to happen under a Blue Moon//
Does anyone know what direction to look for the moon?
The sky :-)
It's a full moon so it will be in the south.
Don't expect it to look blue; the name is given when there are two full moons in a calendar month which only occurs about once every 10 years, hence the expression "Once in a blue moon".
Pasta, they say on our local radio to look east, I'm in RoI but i guess it the same

Oh good...if East I may actually be able to see it. Unless trees block it.
I hope you get to see it Pasta :)
I'll be up late to see it at its brightest at 1:36 am :)
Gosh, I'd be turning over for my second sleep by then :)
I'll set the alarm for 1.35 then back in bed by 1.37
Saw it last night at about midnight. Absolutely fabulous view in a clear sky. Stood gazing at it for ages.
Missed it...too cloudy :(
I looked in vain out of all windows.
I looked at it but all it seemed to be was a bit hazy with beams? radiating from it.
