The world is ending on 21 December 2012

Many believe that the world will end on the above date, because the ancient Mayan calendar runs out on this date.

Surely it is going to end on the 31 December 2012, because my £ shop calendar and diary both run out on this date?

This sounds a bit like the millennium scare that all computers etc would fail.

If the World doesn't end on the 21st the shops will be a nightmare on the 22nd with all those Christmas shoppers who wre hoping it would.
Mind you us credit card shoppers would be pretty brased off we still had to pay :(

I do believe our calendar has changed at least twice since the Mayan's began. Has the doomsday date been amended to accommodate these changes?

What a stupid thing to say. There would have been enormous problems if people such as myself hadn't have sorted it out and I think Chuck got involved too.

We worked night and day to patch computer systems so nobody would feel any effect. It's like you are on a train heading for a bridge that is out. The engineers work like crazy to fix it and you ride safely over thinking, "Pah! what was the fuss about. The train made it with no problem"
