many thanks
A quick way to convert killogrammes to pounds is to double the weight and then add 10% to that answer.

So, 3.5 doubled is 7 10% of 7 is 0.7

add the two and you get 7.7

Even for a weight of 1000kg which is 2205lbs, the method I use gives 2200lbs which is only 5lbs out so it's close enough for most uses.
good one corby loon
I will start using that rather than multiplying by 2.2

3.5 kg is a normal birth weight by the way

I cant think of anything else that goes around in units of 3.5kg
Google just gives you this sort of info if you type the question in the box.
As O-G says, just type "3.5 kg in ounces" into Google - faster & easier than asking AB.

It's a bit easy for the geniuses (ii?) on AB - something more like how many US cups in a Babylonian bushel would be more suitable.
