I'm after a reclining armchair for mr. cupid, reasonable height and high arms as he
is finding it increasingly difficult to get up .Any suggestions for a helpful website not necessarily with 4 years free credit and nothing to pay for the first year.

Have you had a look on ebay. I got 2 from sellers on there very cheap but don't forget transport costs

He wants a recliner, but not one of those that tips you out [he's a bit paranoid he
might end up flat on his face.] And it must have a foot-rest.
Just saw your nudge there cupid! http://www.reclinersdirect.co.uk/
try looking up Parker Knoll chairs - I'm sure that was the make my mother had - it had a high back with side pieces and quite high arm rests plus a foot rest which came out when you reclined the chair. was very neat too - not big and bulky

I bought my mother one with a motor.............(there was a rush to plug it in)

thank you, thats just what we wanted.
craft - does that exclude soaking your feet for 2 hrs whilst sitting in it?

cupid - have bought 2 over the years but they were an optional when buying new suites. Just had a look on line for Able/mobility shops but they only do the riser chairs.
