Good Neighbours

A very young couple ( early 20s) have set up home together next door to us, they’re such a pleasure to know, today I got a Christmas card and a lovely bunch of flowers from them, they’re quiet ,well mannered and such a delight to know, we are so lucky

wait till they have guests, parties and if they don't i would be amazed. If they are still quiet then you are very very lucky....

Haha, Emmie they’ve been here about 8 months now , it was just the kind thought of today which triggered my post

good for you and them.... my neighbours are summarily bstards, they make more noise than the circus.

Oh that’s awful, H&A just go to work and occasionally go out but we rarely hear them at all , even in the Summer

its mainly the people above me, rows, throwing things, screaming, you name it they do it. I have complained but got nowhere.

they sound like nice people, you are definitely lucky to have them as neighbours.

I live in an attached house. I sing quite loudly sometimes I think am I annoying the neighbours then I remember people pay hundreds of pounds to go to concerts.

Touch wood, I've got nice quiet neighbours...next door either side, downstairs. Always have done...except for a brief period when I had 2 sets of neighbours who harassed me for several months.

I have neighbours who never fail to put out my wheelie bin when a collection is due.They also regularly check if there is anything I need.

I have had an assortment of neighbours in the years I have lived here and mostly good ones bar the occasional hiccup.

There are nine flats and we all gel quite well, as I am home most of the time I take in parcels and hold spare keys etc and the younger ones will gladly take out my rubbish or do an errand or job I can't reach.

Works for us.
