The most common reason for avatars not appearing seems to be that people sign up to Gravatar with a different email address to the one they used when they signed up to the Answerbank. They MUST be the same address, otherwise your avatar can't be linked to your username on this site..

I`ve been trying for months now with my original address and got as far as recieving an e-mail to confirm, and still my avatar doesn`t show. So do as I have done, and give up.

carlton .. you must be the only one in the universe not to get an avatar working.
If you have the same email address registered to Gravatar as here, and select a pic when logged in at Gravatar, it will work.

hi, still no joy as gravatar says my name already exists so maybe i did it correct at one point but the gravatar log in says wrong user name/password (i've tried all my passwords but I know which one I used originally). And I've watched the gravatar video. I'll keep trying but for now imagine there is a hairy, woofy wheaten instead of a pink blobby thing above my name!

It doesn't matter what username you use on gravatar, it's only the Email address that has to match the one showing on your profile on answerbank.

If you think he's cute, you should see his little 'sister' Lexi. 8 weeks old and adorable, if only I could crack the messing the carpet and being scared of the stairs but she'll learn, she has Floyd to look up to.

ps I chose the name Lexi before we got her but OH calls her Lexi-Belle, saying she is his beautiful Lexi. I don't know if he realises that Lexi-Belle is also an American porn star.....or maybe he does and doesn't think I do!
