Cripes, crafty ... Do you own a camel, or something?

is it?..............I live on my own and always shower, and am on a meter. Can't complain at all really 'cos that's for water and sewerage.
That's good value, crafty.

I need to move to your area.

Or maybe just come to your area when I need a wash, or a poo.
Question Author
well you're welcome to a shower jj but for the other it's Paul's I'm afraid.
i've been considering going on a meter, but i'm a b*gger for using the hosepipe on the garden.
Do you ever give your dog a drink or has it got to rely on rain water.
Question Author
My dog has plenty to drink.............and I have a sprinkler system for the garden.
I paid 34 euros for my last bill, but I do have more hot baths in winter.
Question Author
Anyway lowry if you have a meter installed and it's too expensive you can opt out of the system after 12 months.
i thought that if you had one fitted that was it .... no going back
Do you make an effort to save water, craft? My bath is very close to my toilet and when I've had a bath, I use the bath water to flush the loo. (Not all in one go, of course). {:o)

My sis thinks that's a bit extreme, but little things like that certainly help to keep the bill down.
Question Author
Well I'm with Yorkshire Water abd certainly had the opt out after a year option. My sister went onto a meter 2 years ago, and they have a huge garden to water, plus she has a husband to keep clean. They are forever washing their 2 cars and caravan, and are still quids in with the meter.
Question Author
lowry this is from severn trent's site..........

Can I change my mind if I get a meter fitted and I don't benefit as I'd hoped?
Yes but you must tell us within 12 months of the date we fit the meter or within 30 days of receiving your second bill. We will leave the meter in place but we won’t charge you from it. Remember that you must pay by meter if you use a garden sprinkler, you fill or top up a swimming pool, or your bill is for a non domestic (business) property.
