KM Links Game - November week 3 results

Good morning everyone - as we begin to wind up this contest, with only another week to go - at least there was a better sprinkling of points this time around, inspite of a couple of 'unexpected' matches from Kate !! I think quite a few of us thought 'we had it made' with two particular combinations and guess what - neither of them materialised !!! The actual matches were -

Drone Fly
Baton Round
National Grid
Lemon Sole

Needless to say, the first two were very quiet, while the last two were very popular but all the matches had been correctly made by the 12th entry so not bad going at all.

There were two stand-out entries - SLANEY & MISS MEG both picked up 6 points for three correct picks.

Three point scorers include BEEJAY1124, LYSANDER, MR ROSLYN, CLEOCIMA, MAGYAR & MRS E.,
while a further 23 entries added a point to their tally

So Congratulations all round and as I'm running a little behind time, I'll post this and follow with the Leader Board

The LEADER BOARD - has seen quite a bit of activity since last time

MISS MEG - 9 points

SLANEY - 8 points

LYSANDER, WICKEDTONGUE & ROSE MAYBUD - 6 points

MAGYAR - 5 points

On 4 points - BEEJAY1124, ELSPETH, TEARINGHAIR, CLIFFYG, JOOLS, CLEOCIMA & CHRISS

On 3 points - 10 players
On 2 points - 11 players
On 1 point - 12 players

Well, that's how the weekend panned out - I'm a little concerned that at least one couple of well-known players were missing from the fray and I believe they live in the north of England, I sincerely hope they've not been washed away totally and will be back with us shortly.

And that's about it for this weekend, so all that's left is to wish you all a good week, and we'll be back, same time, same place, next Saturday, to do it all again, till then..............cheers, Steff

If you mean the Hewatts Steff - I was a bit worried as they didn't feature in either game and didn't say last week that they'd be away. Hope they're ok.

Yes, Dusty, that's exactly who I had in mind - they're always here and also very quick to say when they're off on travels - I'll be happy to see them back again. Hope it's nothing more than a very wet computer.
