Holidays with grandchildren

My wife and I wish to take our three grandchildren (2,6 and 9) on holiday to give parents a break. Any ideas please for a good hotel with suitable child facilities in either Tenerife, Canaries. Happy for other destinations. Thanks.

Have you thought of a cruise? RCI Navigator of the seas does an 4/5night out of Barcelona in May/June. Cruises are very child-friendly.
