Others were posting while I was typing. I'm kicking myself for not spotting 'farthing' because I've previously provided that answer to exactly the same question! ;-)

Thank you all very much and sorry smouse but it does add up.It was hard work though adding up in �sd, Ah how soon we forget.
As a child my 'treat' on a Sunday was a threeha'penny icecream (with monkeys blood on it!!)
