Last clue. The answer is a work by J.B. Priestley, but I have stared at a list of his works for ages and still can't work out which one fits the clue.
"The Spanish secretary's filled with anger"
Any help gratefully received. Thanks.

Laburnum Grove perhaps?
Could it be Angel Pavements?
The - Spanish = el.
Begins with ang.
Secretaries are called Temps which is in second word.
That leaves letters pave which are over.
Pave could mean filled?
Agggh. I'm not mch good at cryptic.
I don't like it, but Angel Pavement ?

el = the spanish
PA = secretary
but I'm unable to explain the rest, except that he letters 'ang' are part of anger.
I have been trying to fit - Dangerous Corner - into the clue, but apart from it containing the word 'anger' I can't see it.

Same with Angel Pavement, too many spare letters.
Lost Empires

Los - Spanish the (plural)
Temps- Secretary's
Ire - anger (inside temps)
