Anyone have any idea where one might find this on video.(I refer to the late 60s TV series of this Alan Garner book - which I remember being repeated in the late 70s/early 80s.)

Can't help you I'm afraid, but I do remember watching it as a kid. I remember being quite scared at the bit with the fluttering noises coming from the attic.
