Hi i've got a C for my General studies A Level, is this 80 points or does it get halved? Cant unerstand the whole points system! Thanks x

Grade C at A-level scores 80 points. However, any points which were scored in the same subject at AS level are subsumed into that score. So if you passed General Studies at AS-level you can't count any points from your AS-level pass, because they're included in the 80 points at A-level.

Thank you Chris, its just that my friend was saying that some universities that do not accept general studies only count it as half the original point score or dismiss it completely, if that makes any sense! x
