A woman has a small collection of artificial fruits on the window sill. The apple is rosy red, the peach is a lovely shade of pink-orange, there is also a pear and a deep burgundy coloured plum. The woman leaves them on the window sill and goes out of the room. When she returns half an hour later she cannot see the fruits at all. Why?
