Has it really been another week already!

I have dragged myself away from "Red Nose Day" to announce the important message that tomorrow is another "Link-up Day" and you are all expected to compete in both competitions. Many of you will know the rules (good) others will not (tough)!

Tomorrow, I pledge 10 to Comic Relief for every point I score on KM Links.

Please use the space below for your manic ramblings!

I'm going back to Peter Kay, who would qualify for membership of the "Shrubbery Squad"!!!

I was wondering where you had got to!!!
I too will pledge a tenner for any points scored on either game.
All the best

Crofter - Have you ever thought about posting the MM & KM Links Games on the 'Crosswords' section of this topic.?

It would make it very much easier for me - and any other late comers, or people just wanting to keep tabs on what's going on - to find it. By the time I'm able to give you my selections I usually have to trawl back over 10 pages or so to locate you.
Wondered where you were Crofter!...Very generous pledge!...I will match it. Shouldn't cost me much though!

Good Luck to everyone. Watch out for Sarumite's secret plan! He has one every week!

Wonder who is in the shrubbery tonight??
I'm trying to hide from Jim. :-)
Jools...what butties have you taken?
Jools. How big is your house? lol
Somehow I don't think Samurite will be jumping for joy tonight - cricket scores not good today. If it's not the Aussies it's the Kiwis.
Forgot to say that I had to Google Red Nose Day to find out what Crofter was talking about.
Ditto Peter Kay.
I'll match his (Queens B's and Pauline's) 10 sterling with 20 Canadian for every answer we get right this weekend but, judging by the previous five weeks I don't think we'll be much out of pocket.
I've got sardines and beetroot. What about you. :-)
Oh! And a flask of Hot Chocolate (suitably laced ofcourse)
Oh dear Ont-ice...hadn't seen them. Too busy with other things! S will be upset!
Is that why he is quiet!!!
Sorry Jools ...got carried away with tv and comic relief! Took me too long to type!
I have my favourite....strawberry jam and cheddar cheese!
Ont-ice...what a kind offer...and good of you to look it up!
Just got home - don't think I can face going out again into the shrubbery, so will see whether a good night's sleep will increase my score - it certainly can't make it any worse. Hope you 'happy campers' manage to 'nod off'. Enjoy the beetroot sarnies - Is that to go with Red Nose Day, Jools?
Pauline. Strange that you should say strawberry jam and cheddar as my favourite is Raspberry jam and cheddar or sliced onions and cheddar - but only on days when I don't expect any visitors.
Mr O thinks I'm nuts so I'm glad to hear I have a buddy in the UK whose tastes are as classy as my own.
I think my nose may be red by the time I've finished the flask of Hot Chocolate.
Yes, another dismal display at the wicket .. (thanks Ont-ice), but all is not doom and gloom . . being the eternal optimist, perhaps we will excel in the six nations tomorrow??
However, of greater importance is my plan of attack for the Links Games. I reckon that if I plead insanity (probably quite believable), it might persuade all those waiting in the shrubbery to take pity on me and place me at the head of the queue ! Yes ???? ;0)
Ont-ice...we really are 'in tune' aren't we? Class across the pond!! Do try strawberry jam with it..much better! also pineapple jam and cheese. Tell Mr O he doesn't know what he's missing!
S..you do be quiet when the cricket is bad!!
Hope the rugby is better tomorrow!
Who would be pleading insanity then, buddy?
By the way, watch those points as you're half-way to losing your membership in the Free Fall club as it is.
PS.
Yeah! Pity about the cricket, eh?
By the way who was it who just matched Gary Sobers' record for something or other? No, I'm not being sarcastic - we just get snippets of sports such as cricket on the BBC World service and I heard the words Gary Sobers but missed the actualy 30-second bite.
NOTICE...Sarumite is definitely NOT insane...it is a trick!!!
BEWARE!!!!
Now do you believe me !!

Ont-ice, the Gary Sobers impersonator was . . Herschelle Gibbs bagged an international cricket first by hitting six sixes in an over, as South Africa inflicted a 221-run defeat on Holland.
