Has it really been another week already!

I have dragged myself away from "Red Nose Day" to announce the important message that tomorrow is another "Link-up Day" and you are all expected to compete in both competitions. Many of you will know the rules (good) others will not (tough)!

Tomorrow, I pledge 10 to Comic Relief for every point I score on KM Links.

Please use the space below for your manic ramblings!

I'm going back to Peter Kay, who would qualify for membership of the "Shrubbery Squad"!!!

Wow!!!!!!
You couldn't bag Herschelle for GB could you?
Anyway, enough teasing for now. Good luck tomorrow.

And to Pauline, too if she's still with us.
I managed to interpret (in a fashion) Sarumite's Norwegian ramblings last week. Someone else will have to take over this week. Marmalade and cheese is also yummy.
It says 'Domination of the Links by Sarumite. I have a cunning plan. They think me mad but little do they know. I've spiked their sarnies with laughing gas. Whilst they giggle I'll rush in'

Thanks Ont-ice, must turn in now in readiness for the morning, goodnight, (and to you Pauline).
Still here Ont-ice!
Marmalade and cheese sounds fantastic!...will try it for breakfast!!! Whilst I'm posting the winning answers!!!!
Thanks for the translation and the warning Christiana!!!!

when did you master Arabic, Christiana ??
morning all, or in most cases, evening !! I must go find out what Red Nose Day means in the UK - out here it's a SIDS fundraiser, though some people affected by this tragedy don't appreciate others running round with plastic red noses.

I'll help out with the fundraising too, but knowing my score so far I doubt it'll add anything significant !!

Ont-ice - did you get some sleep after your midnight ramblings ?? and the sandwich combinations sound as if the whole lot of you are pregnant !!!

will go investigate, then come back, enlightened !! Steff
Hello everyone, like Crofter I have been watching Comic Relief and am still half listening to it. My favourite sarnies are quite tame really, Chocolate spread and banana but unfortunately as I am a coeliac I have really horrible bread which I get on prescription. This means Ihave to spread the chocolate really thick !!!!!! I have no cunning plan for tommorrow but I may think of something. Its too cold to be in the Shrubbery so I will have to get up extra early.Hope everyone is OK and well prepared for tommorrows words.Like the others I will donate 10 for every correct word tommorrow, so perhaps that will give me a bit more luck. Back to the TV for a few minutes, luv Evsajo (Kay)

Red Nose Event ~ Graham Norton has just appeared on stage. Now there's a man that appreciates a warm hand on his entrance!

Point taken kettledrum my friend. I shall set down quick links tomorrow for late comers.

Hallo crofter and evsajo - looks like the rest have taken their extraordinary concoctions off to bed or the shrubbery or somewhere where I'm not going !!

I found at an early age that chocolate and cucumber - not together on a sandwich, I hasten to add - was not a combination my system approved of, so tend to leave the more exotic pairings to the brave ones amongst us

The UK version of RND seems to me an amazingly successful fund raiser - pity we can't access it from here as it's such a good cause.
Morning seekeerz!

Red nose day has been going for years here! It's comic relief..and the idea is basically to raise money for African charities by means of having fun doing it!

I admire anybody or organisation that puts themselves out for the less fortunate. I do however get frustrated at the powers that be not doing what they should..but if we wait for them..we wait for ever!..that's another issue..etc etc..
you could go on for ever!

Reg and I raise money all year round for charities, local and afar. We open our house twice a year. Christmas with Reg's lights!!! ...been in the local paper!! and a summer barbecue for a local charity...autistic and special needs children. You can however, only do so much.

Anyway , back to the sarnies!.....apart from jam and cheese..peanut butter and banana is gorgeous also! A real must!!

There don't seem to be many in the shrubbery tonight!!

Off to bed now...see you all bright and early...and warnings..Reg is off, getting the paper early, and reckons that cos he won't have to rush, he can think about the answers and give it a fair go!
Goodnight!
PaulineDon't know what it's like where you are tonight, but it's too bl---y cold to be anywhere near any kind of shrubbery.
I like evsajo's remark that she has to spread the chocolate very THICK. That's my kind of talk girl. But sorry that you have to eat such yucky bread.
Seekeerz. Got to sleep eventually whatever night it was we're talking about. I'm having a taxing time of it at the moment - literally - as our yearly income tax has to be filed before end of next month and I thought I had everything organized but hadn't. Got messed up one year and they audited us for the next five in a row so don't want that to happen again. However, while we file we have that warm feeling in the pits of our stomachs knowing that we are the highest taxed folks in the 'first'-world nations. Oh! I love giving our money to the govt. Ah!!!!!!!! mumble mumble scream yell @%?* - I need to lie down or bend my elbow or something to take the pain away.
right everyone, be warned! I have it on very good authority (nudge, nudge, wink, wink!) that sarumite's cunning plan this week involves BOATS. He will not be able to deny this! Of course, I am not sure HOW it will involve boats - but you can't have everything!
Seems I'm all alone in the shrubbery tonight - too cold for most - but I have one of my favourite sandwiches with me. Mushy peas and Worcester sauce with Dolcelatte. (Which is probably why I'm alone in the shrubbery tonight!!!!) :O)

Dustybun You're NEVER alone on AB!

Wherever you are
Whatever you do
I've got my beady eye on YOU!
do you know crofter, I actually looked over my shoulder when I read that!! :O)
Dustybun are you sure you are alone in the shrubbery, perhaps everyone is camoflaged and that is sarumites plan. I am waiting for the deal/no deal sketch with catherine Tate on comic relief, then I am going to try to get some sleep ready for tommorrows challenge. Had a break then as the sketch was on ( very funny) so now will say Goodnight to everyone. Is it really 1.25a.m? Must get some sleep Evsajo

I know that feeling, Dustybun and he's half a world away from me !!!!

sleep well, all and I'll see you later in that wretched shrubbery

how could you get a submarine into the shrubbery - can't think of a good punch line, so will settle for 'with extreme difficulty'
Question Author
Distant singing: "And his ghost may be heard as you pass on by the shrubbery ... " zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

oh, crofter stop it, I'll put you in a jolly jumbuk, if you don't look out - go and ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
or you'll be hopeless, tomorrow ......or do I mean later today !!!
