I had got The Goldberg Variations but wasn't sure as I can find 3 different authors for this so thought it was perhaps something else
Hi Candled! I see what you mean.....As well as being a well reviewed ( & best-selling ? ) autobiographical account by Mark Glanville (2003), it is also the title of other books - though mostly they are preceded by "Bach" or similar - ie Bach: The Goldberg Variations.

However, I think it must be a correct answer, even if it isn't the one the quiz setter(s) had in mind!
Well as its the only one I have been able to find up to now I'll pencil it in and use it if nothing better comes along. Thanks..c
The only other GV we found was "The Great Vagabond" by Vishnu Prabhakar.

Known more widely on the world stage rather than in the UK.
How about The Glass Virgin by Catherine Cookson?
I'm stuck on 14, 15 and 20 which I am embarrassed about, being a school librarian!!

I think Goldberg variations (Nancy Huston) is the best answer. On the places in Lincs what is 14 please "you wont remember this occasion "
