What is added to the cross of St. George on the flag of Ulster?
I have found two flags for ulster, One has the cross of St George on a gold field with a red hand in a white shield.
and the other a red cross on white background, a white 6 pointed star topped by a gold crown.
can anyone tell me the correct one?

The Flag of northern Ireland is -

The 'Flag of St George' (A red cross on a white field) defaced with a red hand, crowned on a six pointed white star (representing the six counties in Northern Ireland)
so 'What is ADDED' is -

a red hand, crowned on a six pointed white star (representing the six counties in Northern Ireland)
