Rhythm
crwths

If your brother is a bit of a gambler, then he can go "double or quits" on finding a similar SEVEN-lettered word! It is RHYTHMS!

What about the following task: Given a person's first name, find a song which includus that name! The name must be used naturally and not contrived.

Rhythm is the answer normally given to this question.

However Y is really a vowel in this context (replacing I), so it isn't really correct.

Thanks, i just rang him and tell him rhythm.

Whats that crofter?

Could also have CRYPTS
kevshakry You give me a legitimate first name (boy or girl) and I have to find a song containing that name in the lyrics! ( ... and Kevin is too easy)
That's easy Crofter, it's Happy Birthday To You.
Jansy Right, you're off my Christmas card list! I reckon that I was about to win a fiver there!!
How about TRYSTS?
Sorry Crofter!
(a pedant writes: I think we've been here before - don't know where the idea comes from that the only vowels in English are aeiou; y is usually a vowel, w is a vowel in Welsh, r can be a vowel in Srbian etc. Words without a vowel would be pretty well unpronouncable, apart from some onomatopoeics...)
Psssssst!
Hold on crofter! surely Happy Birthday would come under the heading of "contrived"?!
Who is, Quizmonkey?
It IS my birthday today so Happy Birthday dear Alibobs would not be contrived!
Happy birthday Alibobs, it was my birthday yesterday.

Has everyone forgotten about syzygy? Contrived (?) but in the dictionary.

Syzygy is the shortest English word with three y's

what's the longest?
quizmonkey - tch tch!.., do you remember the last couple of times this one came up? - the phonetic bit is intriguing, but watch out for the schwa!
