Thanks, Naomi, anything nice planned for the weekend?

We have guests coming for dinner tomorrow but nothing else. A night in by the fire with home made pizza, a glass of red and Strictly tonight.

What about you?

Morning Chip we have been out round the field just debating on going back to bed!

Sounds like heaven to me, Naomi. I've often wondered if Christmas pizza toppings are available, what do you think?.

I'm planning on planting a tree, someone once asked a gardener "when is the best time to plant a tree" the swift reply was 20 years ago.

My reply would be "thiers no time like the present.

What ever floats your boat red 😊

Morning everyone.  I've been up since 4.30am as I was fed up with lying awake in bed.

Jay is still there, under the covers.  He looked disgusted at me for getting up so early. I might go back myself shortly.

Hi Ladybirder, is Jay walking any easier?

The choice is yours Ladybirder. Sleeping not just for dreamers

Morning all - I hope you're all well. Your gardener reply chip reminds me of a recent response I got at the bus station when I asked the time of the next bus to my home -- "You've just missed two" - that must rank high in Useless Customer Service annals.

A man once asked the guy in the ticket office at the train station "A return ticket please"

Ticket Guy: Okay, Where to?

Man " back here of course"

Hi Naomi, he's still under the covers so I'll see when he gets up. He refused his prescribed 5 minute walk last night so hard to answer your question but he's due for another try at 11am so we'll see.  It's his favourite chap so if he can't get him out, nobody can. Ooops he's up. I'll let you know later.

If this doesn't make sense don't blame me.  The text keeps disappearing and then coming back after I type it again and then I have it on screen twice.  Really odd.  I'm on a MacbookAir Safari.

Fingers crossed - but try not to worry if he isn't keen to go out.  If my leg was hurting I wouldn't want to go walkies either.

LOL N.  He's just now gone into the garden for his first pee.  He walked on all four legs, stiffly, over 5 paving slabs then went behind a very large pot & cocked his right leg.  Then put it down again without doing anything then tried again and did a pee whilst stand on his left legs obvs.  But then he walked back holding his left rear in the air!!!

Enjoy your Pizza, Red Wine and Strictly.

Morning girls and boys! After a horrendous week which culminated in me breaking down in my car at a roundabout yesterday with grey smoke pouring out from the bonnet, I am hoping that my mechanic can sort the car today as I am stuck without it.

Walking on all four legs - albeit stiffly - is an improvement, Ladybirder.  That sounds hopeful.

Morning smowball.  What a pain!  Where is your car now?

Hi Naomi, I called our breakdown recovery and they managed to tow it home, so it's on my driveway. Have had our mechanic come out yesterday briefly to look at it and it seems to be the starter motor AGAIN. Will be the 4th one in 5 years! But its still under warranty so he's going to try and claim the cost back from his supplier, who wants it by to send off for testing as something is clearly going on. Hopefully he will replace it today, but either way we've decided to get rid of the car - this is just getting silly now. I could have been on the motorway, anywhere! Thankfully I was round the corner from home.

Getting rid of it sounds like a plan, smowball.  Hope you get it sorted without too much hassle.

The mileage is really low so shudnt be too difficult. So what's ur plans for today? X
